We've finished all the integration and testing of the GTIP service for T-Mobile Germany. The service will be going live shortly, so expect a press release on that.

TIPPS on 81444 in Germany is now in full operation, and people are starting to make use of the new German-language keyword.

We're in the final stages of testing GTIP for T-Mobile Germany, which will be available from T-Mobile Germany's WAP site, or via this url. We're also finalising testing of two new GTIP keywords which will be launching in Germany. They are SPIEL and TIPPS, both on 81444 in Germany. The German service will cost €0.99 per answer.

AlienPants is pleased to announce that the GTIP premium SMS Hints, Tips and Cheats service is now three years old. First launched in association with the Game Network in 2003, the service has been in continuous daily operation ever since. The GTIP service is now used by a wide range of companies in the games industry, from magazines to publishers and television programs, as well as our most recent partner, T-Mobile.

The GTIP service has now launched as a WAP service on T-Zones! You can access the service automatically from any T-Mobile handset by going to the Games sections on the T-Zones portal, and selecting Console Cheats & Tips.

GTIP on T-Zones is now fully integrated with the T-Mobile billing service, and is undergoing final testing. You can make use of the GTIP service via WAP by visiting wap://tgames.alienpants.com/gtip/ from any WAP-enabled handset. The WAP version of GTIP through T-Mobile can be used from any device, not just T-Mobile handsets, although non-T-Mobile handsets will need to be registered on the T-Mobile billing network, a semi-automatic process all done via WAP and SMS. If you use the T-Mobile WAP service, you will receive an answer to your question via SMS just as if you had texted in to any one of the existing GTIP keywords.

GTIP has now been added to Orange's mobile content product catalogue! If you want to access GTIP through your Orange phone, contact your local Orange service provider and ask for it.

Playjam has launched PJTIPS, a Playjam branded version of GTIP available to all Playjam customers. The PJTIPS service will be promoted through Playjam's Interactive TV services, currently available in Sky, Telewest Broadband and NTL in the UK, offering games hints, tips, cheats and information for PC and console games. Opera Telecom has enabled another new keyword that accesses the GTIP service. You can now use the keyword CHEATS when texting to 82149 and one of our cheat masters will respond to your question. There have now been more than 25,000 questions asked via the GTIP service in all it's guises. Since launching at the beginning of 2003, GTIP has gone from strength to strength. The latest statistics from the GTIP database show more than 42% of all customers come back and use the service again, showing just how popular and convenient the GTIP Hints, Tips and Cheats service is. We have completed the installation and configuration of the new premium SMS shortcode 61199. The GTIP keyword is now available on all mobile networks in the UK through this new shortcode.

We are in the process of moving GTIP to a new SMS shortcode. The new code wil be 61199, and will allow people using Virgin mobiles and 3 handsets to also make use of the GTIP service.
